SAG-AFTRA issues “do not work” notice for film “Stranglehold

Please be advised that Stranglehold The Film, Inc., the producer of the production entitled Stranglehold, is in default of the Producer – SAG-AFTRA Codified Basic Agreement of 2014, as amended by the 2017 SAG-AFTRA Memorandum of Agreement, 2020 SAG-AFTRA Memorandum of Agreement, and 2023 SAG-AFTRA Memorandum of Agreement, and as modified by the Low Budget Theatrical Agreement, for failure to properly compensate performers.

As such, SAG-AFTRA members are hereby instructed to withhold any acting services or perform any covered work for this production until further notice from the union. Please note, accepting employment or rendering services on Stranglehold may be considered a violation of Global Rule One. Violating this order may result in disciplinary action in accordance with the SAG-AFTRA Constitution.
