NFLPA announces search for interim executive director

The National Football League Players Association (NFLPA) is in the process of selecting an interim executive director. According to a statement from NFLPA President Jalen Reeves-Maybin, the union is committed to maintaining integrity, accountability, and progress for its members.

Reeves-Maybin stated, “The players who make up the NFLPA are bound not only by our shared experiences on and off the field, but by our shared commitment to the success and well-being of our members.” He acknowledged that while the union has faced challenges recently, they remain dedicated to serving their membership’s best interests.

The NFLPA Executive Committee and Board of Player Representatives have passed a resolution in line with the NFLPA Constitution. This resolution will allow for a vote on an interim leader. The organization is currently conducting due diligence and plans to hold a vote soon after completing this process.
