The National Federation of Federal Employees (NFFE) has issued a statement regarding the passing of Representative Gerry Connolly. Randy Erwin, President of NFFE, expressed his condolences and highlighted Connolly’s contributions.
Erwin stated, “Gerry Connolly was a tireless advocate for federal employees and their families. His leadership on the House Oversight and Reform Committee was instrumental in advancing legislation that improved working conditions for our nation’s public servants.”
He further noted, “Rep. Connolly’s commitment to protecting federal workers’ rights and ensuring fair treatment will be greatly missed by all who had the privilege to work with him.”
Connolly’s work within the House Oversight and Reform Committee was recognized as significant in promoting legislative measures that benefitted federal employees.
