The American Federation of Musicians of the US & Canada has announced the launch of the NotMe app. This platform is designed to provide a secure and confidential way for members to report workplace misconduct. Issues such as contract violations, corruption, harassment, discrimination, bullying, ethics and compliance issues, and safety concerns can be reported through this app.
The app offers an option for anonymity, allowing musicians to report incidents without fear of retaliation. All reports submitted are investigated and resolved appropriately. This initiative is part of the federation’s efforts to uphold professional standards and ensure a safe environment for all musicians.
In addition to using the NotMe app, members are encouraged to report instances of discrimination or harassment directly to their employer or their Local Union. The AFM also welcomes reports through its own channels. More information about the app can be found at www.afm.org/not-me-app.
For those wishing to report now, they can visit https://not-me.com/report-now/ using PIN: 1896AFM.
