Most recipients eligible for the Maintenance Craft Part-Time Regular (PTR) settlement distribution have now received their first payments, which amount to over $14.3 million. However, some payments to certain employees were initially rejected due to mismatches with Social Security numbers. These errors have been corrected, and the affected employees are expected to receive their payments around April 11, 2025.
In related developments, the Maintenance Division is currently focused on converting approximately 50 part-time positions to full-time roles as stipulated in the PTR agreement. The division’s goal is to identify part-time regulars who are already working 25-30 hours weekly and others who can increase their hours by taking on additional duties such as changing locks.
The Maintenance Division has also received multiple inquiries about the schedule for the second and final distribution of payments. It is noted that the second phase will not commence until all the payments from the first phase have been completed. The division anticipates the second round of payments to be distributed around June 2025, with individual amounts ranging from $100 to $400.
“Thank you for your continued patience.”
