Idaho Education Association members recently convened at Lewis-Clark State College in Lewiston for the 2024 Summer Institute. The Center for Teaching and Learning’s annual educational event offers four days of free professional development for members, with non-members welcome for a fee.

Registration is now open for the 2025 Summer Institute, scheduled from July 30 to August 2 at Lewis-Clark State College. Members can attend without cost, enjoying lodging, meals, and up to four professional recertification credits through Idaho State University.

The theme for this year’s institute is “The Stories that Shape Us,” with Jodi Eichelberger, former Broadway performer and host of Story Story Night, as the keynote speaker. Attendees have an opportunity to participate in the keynote by submitting stories from their teaching experiences during online registration. A limited number will be selected to share their stories.

IEA member registration is currently open, while non-member registrations begin on May 1. The event highlights IEA’s commitment to providing its members with significant professional development opportunities. It combines structured learning with community building over several engaging days.

Educators interested in attending should register using the password ACCESS25. Non-members may join the IEA or wait until May for any remaining openings.
