Fifth cost-of-living adjustment for letter carriers set at $790 annually

The fifth regular cost-of-living adjustment (COLA) for career letter carriers under the 2023-2026 National Agreement has been set at $790 annually. This follows the release of the July consumer price index (CPI). The adjustment will be added to every step in Table 1 and Step P in Table 2, with proportional increases applied to Steps B through O in Table 2.

The updated pay chart reflecting this increase is currently awaiting confirmation from the Postal Service. The COLA increase is scheduled to take effect on September 6.
